Very beautiful and safe place with luxury accommodation. Their hospitality was awesome. We went there for out bound training and it was excellent. Well organized and punctual. Well mannered and friendly staff. Recommend for family or group to have a day out or for OBT. Food was excellent. Nice surrounding and many adventurous activities to do. They have 48 feet long pool with 4.6 feet deepend. Bar facility is also available. Bonfire and BBQ can be arranged upon request.

Have to start with the fact that this place is owned and operated by the SL Army. If I'm not mistaken, this place has over 20 rooms to offer with varying level of comfort.
This can be called a nature resort as its so aligned with nature. When you get to this place, you are distanced from your day to day life (including mobile coverage for certain carriers).
Rooms, Food and amenities are certainly value for money. Considering the places in Dambulla, this is very much affordable.
